Gig Cancelled - El left !!!

Our gig on the 23rd at The Wheatsheaf has been cancelled.
El, our long serving drummer, un-expectantly left the band leaving us no other option but to cancel the gig. We will sorely miss El's presence in the band but wish him all the best for the future - it's been a great 4 years mate.
If anyone knows of anyone who can replace the irreplaceable drummer please let us know vie our contact page.

Stow has now got a vintage Blackface Twin Reverb and it sounds great, the band has been busy writing new songs and finishing off the tunes that were recorded at Ad house.
At practice on Sunday we had a jam and Ed sung lyrics from the song he wrote called "today" and it went well with the music so we hope to get things going with that.

We have a new logo! The concept was originally by ed. Main idea of having the Red Kite incorporated into it to represent the area we are from. We will also to be changing the website soon and updating myspace.
We now have our own gear to do recordings so we should have some new stuff online soon. Hopefully we are also going to put out an EP too.
We have a gig next Thursday (3/5/07) at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford with The Black Hats and Bethany Weimers. Should be great gig so please try come down.

We have a gig @ Lark in the Park in Islington on the 27th June, its a early doors show so we will be playing at 7.30ish. Also in the nxt few weeks we are going into the studio to record some new tracks, we will put them on the site as soon as they are done and you can have a listen.
On 12th August we will be playing the unsigned stage @ Svengali Fest, more detail to follow as soon as we have them.
We would like to say a big thanks to Emily and Cass at Slippery stage and everyone who came down to The Bully gig, it went off! We look forward to playing another night soon. First off we would like to say a really big thank you to everyone who made the effort to come down to The Water Rats gig on Monday (20/03/2006). Thanks to the support on the night we have managed to get a Saturday night in the summer...we will let you know as soon as we have a date. Big thank you to Kris Gruber for taking loads of photos too.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come to the Windsor gig. It was a really good night and all the bands sounded great. Extra thanks to Syrus and Svengali for helping us out and putting us on.

We are playing with Liquid Sunshine and Syrus at Harpoon Louie's in Windsor this thursday. We have played this club night a few times now and it's always a great night. As well as two other great bands there is a DJ who plays a great selection of tunes. Its also FREE entry for ladies and cheap drinks. Big thanks to Svengali for getting us to play again.

We have finally got the new site finished! The new look site can be updated by any member of the band at any time so you should see new info on each visit. We now have a gallery section and our MP3's will be filled with the latest recordings.
We ended last year with a lot of gigs and we want to continue that right through 2006. You'll see we have 3 gigs booked in at the moment with a few more on the horizon.
